Tyres for commuting / light off road / around town.

Hello,
I'm in the process of cleaning up my Giant ATX 860 and I've got some b*stard huge tyres on there at the moment (see pic). I'm looking for replacements that I can use for riding about town, some light off road and possible commuting. I don't want to break the bank as I'm saving up for a road bike.
Current tyres:

I was thinking maybe these, anything I should be looking out for / avoiding?

Am currently researching and my currents are 26 x 2.1 so those I linked in my first post are no good - getting my head around the various size charts
And got them for £40 delivered!
