Nukeproof Mega Rear Axle

Hi, i have a 2012 Nukeproof mega frame which comes with the DT SWISS RWS 135mm x 12mm REAR THROUGH AXLE.
I am hugely unimpressed by the axle as it kept coming loose when i was riding. I tightened it up the other day before riding which then caused the teeth inside the plastic lever to grind up and also to snap the red allen key piece.
Considering i tightened it by hand in the way it is intended so that it would come loose again, i think it is very bad that it would break.
More to the point: It says "Nukeproof RWS by DT swiss" on the lever of the axle - Would the axle be covered by warranty in this situation? And if so would it be nukeproof or DT SWISS who would deal with it? ( I have emailed/ Facebook messaged/ tweeted both companies multiple times in the last week but have had nothing).
ALSO - If the warranty doesn't cover it would another axle fit? the end of the axle is threaded into the frame so would a rockshox maxle fit this thread?
It would be great if i could get some feedback. Thanks

It would probably be covered by warranty, but contacting the companies by facebook isn't the way to go. Firstly, they don't read that crap. Secondly, your warranty is with whoever you bought the frame from.
And yes, I believe it is maxle compatible.0 -
as above, your warranty is with the shop you bought the frame from. if you explain the situation nicely to them then they might warranty it for you.
FWIW i've never had a problem with the axle on my mega coming loose, and i've never heard of anyone else having a problem either. My Nukeproof Mega
