What about Felt bikes full stop - I see alot of love for the likes of Cube, Decathlon, Voodoo for example - anyone had any experience of Felt?

Yep. Lovely.

A mate rides a carbon 26 hardtail, full XO plus lots of assorted carboness and it's about 20lb, stiff, light, comfortable and he's just romped the South Downs on it.
