Hi all, just got a nice new road bike for commuting. It's a real beauty! I've added some pics which I took with my BlackBerry. They aren't great so will sort some better ones ASAP!

I will get a full review up over the weekend. In the meantime, check out my blog http://www.theaccidentalcyclist.co.uk . Lots of reviews of the products I got in the last few days as well.

Thanks,

Rob

  • Nice....considered one of these...very good bike and i like the look aswell!
  • I like the look of that, nice to see something different than the usual brands you see about, I think your commute might start to take a longer route!
  • Hi mate, after a bit of research I bought myself a Flite 500 and have had it a couple of weeks now. It's not too easy to find other UK owners is it? I think us KHS owners need to stick together :)

Its nice, and its nice to see bikes that I can afford rather than £7k wonders, but lets sort that saddle out for a starter. Get a spirit level on it and start off with it level
  • Cheers guys, yeh they are a bit different. Such a good spec for the money though!

With regards to the saddle, I have now adjusted it. I'll get a few snaps with a decent camera at the weekend. I'll also try to get a full review up on my blog to give some more details as there really is limited information out there on these bikes!

Yeh, us KHS owners do need to stick together! I think Steve at KHS has pretty much sold out now so until he get's the new ones in from America assuming he is (I think they are black and may drop down to Tiagra on a few components) we may be remaining a small club!
  • Nice bike for the money!! Very high spec compared to what you get at that price from a lot of other brands good choice I say and you won't see that may about
  • I got a Flite 500AK in Spring and I'm delighted with it. A really easy acceleration, a lovely riding position, great on climbs, and it encourages me to keep trying to go faster. Nicely put together by Steve as well - everything in the right place, handlebars taped really well. Also excellent after sales service - I still stay in touch with Steve to ask questions about the bike setup, upgrading parts and so on, and he's always prompt to reply and full of helpful advice. KHS are well worth supporting I think.
