Hi all. Thought I would introduce myself. Just bought my wife and I a trek 6000 D series.
Any hints and tips appreciated. Also, looking for off road trails in Liverpool area.

    Get a second one so you have one each, it's not a tandem!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Did the same some years ago. My wife lost interest and I used hers to poach parts from:). Best thing I ever did!

    I searched this on google and found nothing. What I did find that hardly surprised me is that every forum said to come to wales and having looked at the map landegla might be fun for you and the wife to go mtb in. It's in north wales and has some really easy stuff to get you started.
