Brompton eating rear sprockets

I've done around 600 miles on a new chain/rear sprocket on my Brompton 3 speed. After fixing a puncture tonight i see the sprocket is wearing noticeably. So I guess I'll be looking to replace at 1000 miles. Is this what others see? Or is it something that's mis aligned that's causing abnormal wear?

is your chain an sprockets clean or old oil?Keeping it classy since '830 -
Well the chain gets wiped clean every weekend. I guess it's just wear and tear in the big smoke. It's not like it's too much of a pain to change it.0
