I like the strap line "this slim fit shirt .......................features non-technical details inspired by traditional racing jerseys..." That's what we need - more 'non-technical' clothing! Nice shirts though , if you like Fred Perrys.Raymondo

Hopefully without asking too much of a daft question, why are there WC rainbows (or "multi-stripe") on the cuffs?
Nice shirts though.Canyon Roadlite

fair enough, I guess I just haven't spotted the rainbows before. Bit of a coincidence!Canyon Roadlite

Nice shirts though.

They're not. They usually have a contrasting colour trim on collar & cuffs.

what i meant is they always have what ever colour thats on the collar is repeated on the sleeves......Keeping it classy since '830 -
I quite like them, but agree the World Champs bands is a bit odd. British Champ bands, or a bit of yellow or gold, now that would make sense. Also, as a general rule, I think that anything other than the classic Fred polo has a tendency to look a bit chav, unless you are very careful.0

£65 aint to bad for new out shirts......
I'd struggle to pay £65 for a technical, wicking, 'pocketed', zipped cycling jersey. But £65 for a £3 t shirt with what must be a £62 badge sewn on....?0 -
I want to get one of these but am worried I'll look like a monumental bell-end. Can the forum pls advise...

Yes, you would.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

Yeah, nice idea, but not so well executed. I'd rather have a regular polo with the button collar. And the World Champ bands are ignorant - puts me off.Cannondale Synapse 105, Giant Defy 3, Giant Omnium, Giant Trance X2, EMC R1.0, Ridgeback Platinum, On One Il Pompino...0

Monumental bell-end.
TBH, Ralph Lauren is going through a very bell end patch at the moment - not helped by their recent decision to make their badges REALLY F*CKING BIG
The US band sash thing doesn't work either.
a) it's an american reference. Not cool.
b) The band is the gimpy loser thing to do in America anyway anyway. Cool people over there do sports or beat people up and groom themsleves to look like pornstars. Apparently.0 -

My thoughts exactly. I mean they make for a nice top, but seem a bit out of place. Tony Martin would be a bit peeved...Canyon Roadlite

He has, a few years ago now though I think. Maybe they should have just listed all his achievements on the arms like a roll-call, rather than just plucking a title from his past... they'd need extra long sleeves thoughCanyon Roadlite

True, my bad. Still think a nod to his more recent history would have been better though. At least they have the bands in the right order this time, unlike their last cycling range.0 -

Not sure why they are there though, except to perhaps denote them as cycle-related?0 -

There's a very similar line in the 'Jaws' book. Brody observes Richard Dreyfus' character (Matt Hooper) wearing a LaCoste...something like a 5 dollar shirt with a 30 dollar croc on it...0 -
