I know this is another question from me about computers but can anyone tell me if this computer sensor is front or rear wheel mounted and therefore suitable for measuring distance and speed on a turbo trainer?

I want to keep a record of how much I do, so a simple cadence monitor is not enough.

Ta very much!

Yes, this can be used on a turbo trainer.

Sensor unit should be positioned on the non-drive side chain stay. Maget for cadence is fitted to the pedal arm and magnet for speed is fitted to the spokes (on the rear wheel).
