Looking at new forks for my specialized hardrock sport disc 2012 and these caught my eye seeing as they were reasonably cheap now reduced, but i saw another topic where someone had bought the forks and didnt fit his bike, anyone know if there right for me...

does your bike take a 1.5 steerer? i think not.
so nope."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You will need 1 1/8 inch steerer tube, if your steerer tube is less than 190 mm long, then this is a great deal:

190mm is fine on a Hardrock (I still have the original forks from my old 2010 hardrock in the shed) but you will loose some spacers from under the stem which will drop your bars by about 10mm.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I would ignore this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
And measure, always. Frames change over time, and between sizes. Make sure.I don't do smileys.

But you don't even know what size he has! The 23" has a 160mm headtube, the 21" a 140mm, so very much doubt that 190mm steerer would fit.0
