Hi,

I have been riding a friends £300 raleigh road bike for the last few weeks and am starting to quite enjoy it and am looking into getting my first road bike for sub £1000. Chain Reaction Cycles seems to have some good deals at the moment, and I've been specifically looking at the corractec dolomiti 105: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=75532

and the BeOne Storm

Front Derailleur: Shimano 105 black
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105 black
Shifters: Shimano 105 black
Brake levers: Shimano 105 black

Rims: Shimano RS20
Chain: Shimano 105
Cassette: Shimano 105 (12 - 25T)

Does anyone have any experience with either of these bikes? Or an alternative sub-£1000 bike with 105 or similar?

Thanks

Bought this bike for my son last crimbo from CRC. Abs fab bike frame and chainset good for price. He has had no problem with the bike for over 8 months now, well built bike if you can get the discounts ( I paid just over £450 for the 2011 model ), a bargain. The seatpost and handlebars are sturdy ( but with all entry bikes ) are a tad heavy, but I would recommend Corratec from my experiences.
