Does any one know if it is posable to remove the steering post from one set of forks and put in a different set, both being 1/8,

I want to upgrade my rockshox recons to rebelas my recons post is 200mm the post on the rebas are 165mm. Can i press the stems out and swop them?

huh? You want to do the opposite of that!
Remove all spacers, get a low stack stem and if the steerer then fits you might wanna get a set of riser bars to bring your riding position back to where it was."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

I think he's referring to the extenders you can bolt in....very bad idea when your life can literally depend on the front wheel staying where it is!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
