Hi,
Visited Ribble cycles in Preston today and ordered a Gran Fondo full carbon bike.
A big thanks to Matt who took the time to answer all my queries in relation to chainset, stem, wheels, pedals etc. And helped me tailor the bike to a real beauty.
So far 10/10 for Ribble so hopefully the rest of my bike buying experience goes so well and can't wait to collect in a few weeks!

Hi
Been thinking of the same bike
But did you also try there new sportive bike
and if so what was the difference between the Two0 -
Hijack alert!
I've been looking at the sportive too, but as I'm in London, I can't get there to try it out, basically I would have to trust myself to order the right bike with all the right bits! A bit daunting, only been riding a few months & still getting to know what all the bits do!Boardman 8.9 SLR - Summer
Holdsworth La Quelda - Commuter
Moda Intro - Winter
Planet X Stealth - TT0 -

it came down to looks in the end. think the gran looks better colours!
if it helps im 5'11 and 55 frame 100 stem works best for me0 -
yes and to be honest the geometry felt very similar.

OK thanks for that
Like Tom I am in London too and a trip up there is kinda to long.
Regarding geometry between the two what could you say was different
in feel or ride between the them both.
Thank you for your reply0 -

than gran is slightly taller at the front resulting in a less sporty position. still felt racy enough for me without being painfull for long rides.0 -
