Carlos Barredo's blood values...
...are apparently suspicious enough to warrant being pulled from competition pending investigation.

I read an article recently by Chris Ashenden I believe who said that dodgy blood values are quite a regular occurrence, however there needs to be more evidence to actually get it flagged and the rider investigated. Given that, they must look really dodgy. He was 10 on the UCI suspicious

Yes, him and Mr Popovich I think were the dodgiest looking fellows.0 -

From the oustide, that's a really odd list. There are people quite high up it of whom I've never heard anything remotely dodgy, and people quite far down it about whom eyebrows have been raised in the past. Millar's bloodworm is as "dodgy" - or as clean - as Armstrong's, yet everything I've seen over the last couple of years would make me place them at quite different ends of the dodginess spectrum. They use their cars as shopping baskets; they use their cars as overcoats.0

Wiggins and Contador in the same category0

As indicated by DeadCalm, the thing to remember with that list is that apparently it wasn't just based on blood values. So, for example, if someone had markedly improved their performances, it could warrant a higher score. The list was for 2010, so one would expect a higher score for Wiggins given his performance in 2009. Using another example Kevin Seeldreyers had a very good 2009, which could have helped towards his score (and the same with Siutsou).
The great thing though with the passport is that it can catch people who were maybe cheating, then due to tests becoming more sophisticated had to stop or changed to something new, leading to different blood values. So, you may not be caught right now if you are doing something dodgy, but a year or two down the line a change in your blood values will be your undoing. I think that is something which sends out a very powerful message to cyclists and is a very strong deterrant.
As for Barredo himself, based on what Ashenden has said there are plenty of riders that they know are doing something but don't proceed with a case. They only move forwards when the evidence is particularly strong, so odds are that Barredo is in for a long spell on the sidelines.
Irrespective of the full list of inputs leading to the score, would you sign a rider that you know was scoring a 10 on the leaked list? Barredo did win San Sebastien in 2009, but who knows how much that result would have impacted his rating.0 -
Was it Barredo that was involved in the front wheel fisticuffs at the TdF a few years back?0

Yeah the one where one of them tried to hit the other over the head with a wheel.
So this wouldn't just be a list of rider with the most temper rather than doping suspicion?
Oh, nevermind - Voeckler rated as '0' ..0
