OK, I give in; it's someone elses turn.

Will someone please take this P*** fairy off my back and let me at least complete one journey, or even open the garage door on a morning without having a flat.

I've had more flats in the last four months than in the previous four years - and by some margin. Having had at least one flat per journey in July, I now seem to have picked up the world's supply of thorns on both the MTB and the 'hack' and, a little over a week after giving in buying two new MTB tyres (not that they were wanr particularly).

I repaired three holes in the front tube on the hack when I got home last night only to find both front and rear tyre flat again this morning - so I've just ordered two new Armadillos - that's over £100 on tyres in 10 days.

At least the road bike's not joining in the fun. I've only had to replace a failed tube on that this summer - mind you, it's only had half a dozen outings since June.

I often thought by the law of averages that as I wasn't getting any that someone must be getting a lot, now I know who it is, thank you. :D

    The run continues.

The back tyre on the MTB was flat last night (glass shard) when I went to leave work. I repaired that tube when I got home, as well as the tube in the hack's rear tyre. Howwver, the valve in the hack's tube came away with the track pump as I disconnected it.

This morning I got up early, fitted a brand new tyre and new tube onto the rear wheel of the hack....and it was flat by the time I got to the end of the street. There's a long steel staple through the sidewall which may, if I'm very unlucky, may have wrekced £25's worth of brand new tyre.

I don't know about that ... just after reading this thread I had two punctures in three rides on the new bike ... having gone on the 2nd bike for 2 months without one.

Unless the OP has already given me the P****ure fairy without me asking for it, in which can YOU CAN HAVE IT BACK
