Hello
I am thinking of riding the evans thirsk supportive 76mile route, but i will be doing it on my own rather then in a group as i have no riding mates ha!
is this quite common for people to ride them on there own or will i stick out like a sorethumb
sorry for the mundane question but you got to ask to find out

Ive ridden the Fred Whitton and Christmas Cracker on my own a few times. Its more fun with mates though.0

Nobody can tell who you're with. Anyway you may arrive with a mate and then break up as the ride goes. I'd have no problems about doing it solo anyway.0

Most of my chums are of the "ride to the pub" persuasion, so I usually start out riding on my own.. That said, people are usually very friendly, and groups form from riders cycling at around the same speed. If in doubt, just ask if they mind you riding along, but try to remember to take a turn at the front!Purveyor of "up"0
