Turning a 9 spd into a 10spd

Hi,
I have my eye on a Specialized Allez Sport but it comes with 9 spd Sora. The Allez elite comes with 10spd Tiagra, but I prefer the look of the sport.
I was wondering if it is possible to turn/upgrade the groupset from 9spd to 10spd?
Which parts in particular would have to be replaced... Shifters/Cassette/Chain, anything else? Crankset?
Thanks

as you say, Shifters/Cassette/ChainFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0

There is no advantage in going 10 speed, only drawbacks... if you like the look of the 9 speeds one, buy it, save the money and keep it as it is
Would you choose a car over another because it's got 6 speed instead of 5?left the forum March 20230 -
As Ugo says, not much point really. I'd just ride it, wear out the group set, then potentially upgrade. If you do then upgrade, go 105 or Ultegra. But if I was you upgrade wheel set and tyres leave the rest. Save your money and use it for a new bike in the future.0
