Mills Hills Sportive 14th October 2012

This new event for 2012 has a lot more than your usual sportive. As the name suggests it has Hills and Mills with some unique twists, timed climb of the longest continuous gradient in England (rises 968 feet 5.5miles) and Cyclocross route option.

Event headquaters is Mytholmroyd Community Centre postcode (HX7 5AF) where registration opens at 7.30am and food will be available after the event.The routes are all way marked and a route card is given to every competitor at Registration. Emergency numbers will be on the route card and the there will be a following sweep vehicle. Both road routes have a feed at Oxenhope with hot drinks and food. Electronic timing is provided by Smartiming.

Starts will be from 8.30am it is recomended that long course route goes of between 8.30 and 9.30am and shorter routes from 9.30 - 10.30am. You will be set off in groups of 20 at 5 minutes intervals.

Exact routes will be available soon but before entering be prepared with low gears and good brakes.
