Going to Gisburn for first time at the weekend. What are the conditions like after rain does it drain well or is a mudfest ? Also is it worth doing the Blue route after doing the main red/ black sections ? Thanks in advance.

    Generally drains well, although hully gully can sometimes be a bit slippery. As for the blue route if your doing the red first you will of already done the most interesting parts of the blue due to the fact that they share the same parts of the trail. The other parts of the blue offer no technical interest. Although for a beginner it's a good introduction to off road biking. ( Took my lad round it and he really liked it)
