Tyres again.....

I use my MTB for nothing more than tow paths, the Jubilee river and roads,so compact surfaces with the odd patch of gloop depending on the weather,no commuting just for leisure/fitness.
I currently have MTB tyres which I don't think are wholely suitable,I never delve into the relms of "proper" off-roading,with propably 50% road use.
I did use Michelin hard rocks but are there any alternatives that would be reccomended for my use? Thanks.

Maybe more than what you need but have a look at Bontrager XR4 TLR Expert 2.2 (also in 2.35).LRRs0

Something with a little tread for when you come across a little bit of slime, maybe, like a Kenda Small block eight.
They still roll very fast on the harder surfaces.0 -
Any tyre with a 2.0 width and a slick centre section with knobbled edges will be best I think. You'll go faster thanks to the lack of tread, still have cornering grip thanks to the edge blocks, and the width of the tyre will still cushion most of the little pebbles etc you ride over.
People will say you'll get loads of punctures as they're slicks but you won't, I never did when I used them.
Sadly it was a long time ago and I cannot remember what they were.Specialised Camber Comp 2011
