Garmin Edge 200 Cashback - Have you had yours?

Bought an Edge 200 about 7 or 8 weeks ago and filled out the online form to claim the £30 cashback but not had anything yet.

Has anyone else actually received their money because I am beginning to smell a rat!

Garmin are a pretty big company, they are unlikely to make false offers.

If you sent paperwork in the post it may have got lost, Royal Mail lose over 1,000 letters a day.

Write to Garmin and ask them if they received your application. Most likely they are just slow, offers like this often are.

It may have proved to be a little too successful and they have a big backlog to clear? My guess anyway. I'm just peeved the offer came out a fortnight after I bought mine :roll:

Keep getting promises of payment but still nothing recieved. This goes back to the end of July.

I did mine online and it's all been accepted, Think I bought my unit last week of the offer so I'll still have a wait for the cheque to arrive but it will be a nice surprise when it does.

Two and a half months, several e-mails, and lots of false promises later, .....still no payment recieved.

Hadn't heard anything in 2 months. Went on the website link they sent and left a message. Received a response pretty quickly saying that it has now been processed and I should receive the cheque within the next few days. We'll see...

Yes i must admit they are very quick to respond to the e-mails, just not at paying up.

Garmin are a nightmare with this particular offer. I got so fed up with receiving the same crap from them I emailed the global head of customer services. The next day I had an email from the European consumer support manager.

I suggest you all email him and relay your experience, details are;

Finally got mine this week paid into my bank account. Took about 12 weeks. Check your account with them. You were no doubt given a number and reference etc. I sent a few emails requesting payment etc. and they replied they were processing the claim etc but when I checked account it appeared they hadn't got a copy of my receipt. They hadn't told me. I uploaded another copy of the receipt, sent another email and within a few days the money was in my account.

Thanks for the e-mail link skelkelly. Tried it yesterday after two and a half months of false promises and numerous mails, well it really seemed to do the trick, recieved a very apologetic mail today stating that a cheque was being posted out immediately.

Sorry to revive an old thread - but I did eventually receive my cheque a few weeks ago.
