Hey guys,
Firstly wanna say Hello, I'm Luke 21, from Nottingham. Currently own a rubbish Halfords special bike and I am looking to buy something a bit better and hit some more trails. My budget isn't huge however as I am also buying a road bike, something I've wanted to do for a while. I've narrowed it down to two bikes, both from Decathlon, the Rockrider range.
Bike 1

Bike 2

Can any see an obvious winner out of these two? There's obviously a big price difference and I imagine the more expensive is the lighter of the two as the Rockrider 8.0 doesn't mention weight. I am off to look at both bikes tonight anyway and to try them for myself but wondered if anyone had any pointers?
Cheers

the 8 is the better bike, you need to check the price on that link, doesn't tally with this one http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-80-id_8194500.html and thats been knocked down from its normal rrp, or this one for the 5.3 http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-53 ... 06682.htmlSpecialized Hardrock Sport Disc 10- CANYON Nerve AM 6 20110

Didn't realise there was a lot more detail/spec on Decathlon's site. Got linked straight to the BTwin site somehow.
Cheers for the heads up0
