Heres a picture of my Giant scr3,I know its nothing compared to the £1000 plus bikes that get shown on this forum.
It is my first road bike for over 20 years as I use to have a Raleigh banana back in the day.
The bike needed a bit of a clean up as the frame was full of scratches and chips so I painted and polished most of them out,I have added new Continental ultra race tyres/Top peak saddle bag/Cat eye wired comp/Pedals with toe clips  /Giant bottle cage/new brake blocks and Fizik bar tape.
Not been out on it yet as waiting on some more gear.
Thanks
Karl

It's still a nice bike! At the end of the day it's what it brings you not what it brings everyone else. That said bet it rides nice an probably will never miss a beat :-)0

I have an SCR 2 as my winter bike. It was my first road bike in many years... The thing is bomb proof!!
Yours looks much smarter than mine.... enjoy0 -
My first road bike was an SCR 4 that I bought on eBay. Was enough to get me well and truly hooked back on the road experience . Did some upgrades but limited myself financially as I really wanted to splash out on a new bike - ended up with a Defy Composite 2 and got more for the SCR back on eBay than I paid for it!
It's all about getting out there and riding, not posing about on the latest model!0 -
Wise words from DefyGravity it seems, its how you ride it. Nice graphics and shape.
How did the ride go?0
