Basque MTB
Just back from a week in Basque country - and for a couple of days were lucky enough to spend time being guided around the local trails by Doug of Basque MTB. - Just wanted to share my experience with other Bikeradar people!
Despite being interested in different levels of mountainbiking, Doug tailored the days to keep us both really happy and offered a nice combination of technical, sight seeing, hints and tips and was even kind enough to hammer the last road climb on his own back to the van while we sat supping a beer on the beach!
If anyone's in the region...I'd really recommend looking these guys up. Can't wait to get back out for some more!

Good to hear - i'm looking at a holiday with them next year (if funds allow :? )!
What was the riding like? Is there a nice range of techy / flowy stuff (as opposed to all one or the other)?Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....
Riding a gorgeous ano orange Turner Burner!

We did two days and got the feeling that there was loads more to explore had time permitted. Flowing. Oastal singletrack was our favourite. A few techy bits but nothing outrageous. Doug the guide geared the day to our request...which was great.
2nd day was inland in the local hills. Different type of riding, barely saw anyone else all day. Loved it!0 -
Hi
Could you expand the phrase being " interested in Different levels of mountain biking"
Did you want easier stuff or something more techy?
Cheers, as you say it looks a great place but would be useful if we're thinking of going as to what you meant by thisI'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

I just found this. Thanks a lot for the feedback, and taking the time to post feedback. It means a lot. .And, of course, thanks for visiting!
We have loads of different stuff from crazy hard to super mellow. I think what Mccraque means by different levels is that it was a group with mixed levels who wanted to ride together so I had to tailor the holiday to that.
Cheers again!0 -
