And that investigation IIRC has been going on a lot longer than the USADA case.

Not entirely scot free though. The doctor Schmid was fined 3 months salary for having provided ex T-Mobile rider Christian Werner with dope.
That must have been a long way back – Werner retired in 2005, aged 25, disillusioned at not having made the big breakthrough (though popular with the girls for his grin and his suggested shyness).

" It was also “verifiable” that Andreas Klöden, Matthias Kessler and Patrik Sinkewitz were involved in blood doping in 2006, "

Klöden lucky that the cooperation between the German Feds and the German doping agency isn't the same as exists in the USA?

Seems like the German anti doping agency are interested to see the evidence after all.

The Russian ADA won't though - it's full of actors talking about Shakespeare. And the Latvians are only interested in crappy cars.

Small South American countries might consider amalgamating the organisations, so Ecuador, Nicaragua and Chile could form the ENCHILADA.....

I think the Danish ADA have some rather avant-garde methods.

  • The Yemen are big fans of 1990s observational comedy hence their Anti Doping Authority is called the YADA YADA
