C2C - Morecambe to Bridlington

Planning on doing this ride in 2 days on 329/30 Sept with some fitter riders than me. 60 odd to somewhere near Pateley Bridge on the Saturday then what I hope is an easier Sunday with 100 to Brid. Anybody done this: Route suggestions? Any recommendations re place to stay near Pateley Bridge?
Any help/advice would be great. Thanks
