Anyone do this sportive today? Was my second sportive, really getting in to them, posted a quick time (for me), due in the main to riding in a group all going a good pace and getting the benefit of others doing the hard work ... i did my turn too. Thought the organisation was excellent, facilities superb and fantastic scenery and wildlife....had to slow down to avoid horses, pony's, cow's and deer in the middle of the road. Will definitely be doing this again next year. Was bloody hot though !

It was an OK course that certainly delivered in terms of different types of paysage and features - from gorse & prairie flowered flats that stretched for miles to lovely fern forests to tall red-wood forests that reminded me of Vancouver or Oregon.

It wasn't very challenging hill-wise, in fact butt-pain from constant sitting in the saddle was my biggest issue. It's amazing how often your average UK sportive makes you get out of the saddle with constant ups and down. I believe it's a good thing!
