XTR m970 shifter ! Is this normal ?

Hello everyone !

Got my new but used XTR shifter today and wack them on the bike , them i spotted that the thump down LH lever is sitting higher the push down RH lever !

Does anyone know how to adjust them or is this normal ? :?

It's normal, same with XT.

Is there a way to adjust them ? Just seem way out ?

They are meant to be like that as you need more push to shift front gears than rear.
