Hi guys, long time lurker here. I am finally looking at buying my first bike after about a year of delays (broke my ankle in jan). I have stumbled across a Giant TCR 0 Compact on wiggle for £1k - This bike has an Ultegra groupset and a banging alu frame.

Excuse my ignorance but surely there's something i'm missing? This seems too good to be true. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

The 2013 bikes are out soon so they're getting rid of the last 2012 bikes. Just limited sizes and not many left I should think. Don't be tempted to get a bike that isn't your size even if it is a bargain.

How does this frame compare to say the caad10? Obv the group set is great but frame wise what's the best
    Bikes: CAAD8 105, CAAD10 105.

Best for what? CAAD 10 has "racier"geometry, tcr has a more upright position. The "best" one will be the one that fits your requirements and physical attributes best. the caad 10 has better kudos though, if that's what you want to know, and looks better.

In what way does the caad10 have a racier geometry than the TCR? Think you must be getting confused with the defy.

In the way that it has a shorter head tube for a given top tube length.

Giant sizing sits in the middle of cannondale sizes.. but as you can see the Giant Geo also sits in the middle...

    Giant M/L - TT = 57cm HT = 17cm

    Cannondale 56cm - TT=56cm HT = 15.5; 58cm - TT=57.5cm HT = 17.5cm

I stand corrected. i'd looked into getting the tcr advanced sl or super six evo and the differences are more pronounced in my size
