BMC go top with a solid looking time. They beat Orica by 20 seconds. Impressive.0

Timekeeper's having a nightmare
OPQS were first in 18'59" - now the top 3 all have the same time at 19'01"“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
team sky off the ramp0

I'm just after the flamme rouge. Noise is crazy in running of bulls part of route (last 800m or so). Absolutely roasting (one roadside time/temp sign was saying 41C at 7pm!), starting to cool off a little now, thankfully.0

Where were the bulls? I was expecting them to be chasing Saxo Bank in revenge for the unsubstantiated doping slurs that Contador has levelled at their species.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Now I think it may just be a side affect of my EPO but I've just seen Movistar win a team time trial. That's not normal!***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0

I didn't watch it, but according to cyclingnews Cobo was distanced before the line, and lost a few seconds...0
-
Movistar??? Wtf0

That pissed on Rabo's chips!Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0
-
Pwned by Movistar.
Contador looking good, team looking less so. Bring on the road, looks good so far.

Saxo 15 secs down - good result.
Good win for Movistar.
Two changes from timekeeper...Contador is the Greatest0 -

It´s important to remember that Movistar base is Pamplona and the TTT was very tecnhicalIf you like Flandes, Roubaix or Eroica, you would like GP Canal de Castilla, www.gpcanaldecastilla.com0

Castroviejo at the press conference:
“We had of course home advantage and knew the route. And naturally we were highly-motivated. …. Only 4 days before the Olympics began, I was told I’d be going there. The TT went well, and the Eneco Tour afterwards too. I’ve come here in good form. …. We didn’t arrange who would come in first across the line, it just happened to be me, it could have been any of us. …. I dedicate my victory to all those who believe in me and who from the beginning have supported me”0 -
A bit chaotic, yesterday.
Last man in 198th was Enrico Gasparotto, 09:03" down.
3 Astana riders crashed, but he came off worst, breaking his CB and DNS today.
Meanwhile, the police escort went the wrong way, taking OPQ's Tony Martin and Stybar with them.
Hence, them not in the finishing 5 and possibly costing the team the leader's jersey."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Tony Martin can't buy luck atm!0
-
My guess is that its because the TTT has been reinstated as an event at the World Champs this year......although it is purely guesswork0
-
What a team Sky is...Contador is the Greatest0 -
-
thought Sky had abandoned the screening off of riders...seeing it as one of those marginal gains that were counterproductive.0
-
Why do all the Movistar riders in this picture, appear to have a bloody nose? Did they crash?0
-
I think it's just the black trim at the bottom of their visors:0
