Garmin Edge 500 help

Hi Guys, just trying to set up my new toy for my maiden voage tomorrow on my new bike. I went for the Giant TCR comp 2.

Just one question, when updating my heart rate zones via garmin connect it keeps asking for my birthdate. However i can't see anywhere on the device or site to enter it. I can enter my age but not my birthdate

any ideas?

not seen it ask that b4 had a look and nowhere does it allow it so im stumped sorry
