Chaingangs, Reading Area

Anyone know of any fast chaingangs in the local area? I'm new to the area and need a bit of intensity to build form for some end of season races, and can't make it to London every Tuesday and Thursday. I'm happy to travel up to about 10 miles for Reading for the start point I guess - any more and I'll be getting back in pitch black.

Alternatively, any other racers want to start one? pm me and I'll try and get people together if there is nothing viable at the minute.

    Maybe reading cycle club?? http://www.readingcyclingclub.com/ I think they have an active racing section.

    Thanks David, I did try turning up at the Shephards Hill roundabout on a Thursday eve as I saw something on the internet about a Reading CC chain gang from there but didn't see any roadies.

    If I don't see any other leads I'll get in touch with Reading CC directly and see what's happening.

    Cheers, I can't really help as I live in Newbury. I know Newbury rc offers a faster group on Sunday at 8am but its only really populated in the off season.

    There will be plenty of clubs in your area with fast riders.... :wink:

    Thanks Rushmore, I've been out with a few of the Reading CC guys, plenty quick enough!
