That's a big increase, how much is it a litre now?my isetta is a 300cc bike0

about £1.32 around here at the moment. I havent seen anything about crude oil prices increasing - any links? There's a refinery closing down but the story around wholesale fuel prices appears to be journalistic scaremongering again - and is quoted as 4p/litre for the price drops not passed on.

Whenever the price of crude goes up the pump prices react like Usain Bolt out the blocks. When they drop, well, I've seen paint run faster.Tail end Charlie

And Shell have been recently entertaining various civil servants. Shell are apparently a non-European country now for tax purposesM.Rushton0

The cost of the LPG conversion on my V6 will be paying for itself quicker than expected with LPG at less than 70p a litre.0

I dont even look at fuel prices anymore, I just know they are mental, but where I live I need to drive so c'est la vie. I also work in the oil industry for my sins.0

Yup.
The price at the moment should be around £1.20 I think, because the crude price falling over the last 6 months or around 6 months ago, can't remember which.
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
£1.31 in Bolton, and has been more or less static for weeks / months0

You mean people actually pay for petrol ? Based on most people's choice of car and the way they drive, I was under the impression it was being given away.0

Too right. When it all runs out a few years time I wonder what all these sad b@stards will do for a penis?

Got up to £1.53 for a litre of diesel at Barbrook Filling Station near Lynton, North Devon a few months ago, now £1.49. The nearest alternative petrol is 20 miles away in Barnstaple.
Was in Lynton last week Just had to remember to fill up whenever returning through Barnstaple where it was about 10p cheaper...There is no secret ingredient...0 -
It's 1.33 in Nth Mcr (Morrisons/Asda,some Esso). The Guardian reports today that Shell have spent £383million on security in the Niger Delta (big issues around that)M.Rushton0

Time to ride wherever and whenever possible folks. I've been a regular communter for about 15 years but occassionally used the car. Unleaded hit £1.41 on the Island last year at which point I decided I wasn't going to use the car for work again come hell or high water (and there has been plenty of that).
I'm lucky in that my commute is a 20 mile round trip with no killer hills, I realise that it isn't practical for everyone but if you can, once you get into the groove, it's ok. I just don't know where to hang the Feu Orange on my bike though.0
