New to mountain biking and deciding what bike to get

Hi everyone I'm new to both mountain biking and this forum, and was just wondering if anyone could assist me,
Recently I have decided to take up mountain biking / downhill riding and I have been looking at a Bionicon golden willow from 2009, has anyone on here had any experience with this bike or know anything about them?
Ive had a search on the forum and there was not much info on this bike but looking on other sites it seems to get a good read up.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

The GW is an all rounder rather than a DH bike - it will depend how hard the DH is you want to do, and your skill.0

As SS says, what do you mean by 'Downhill riding'?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
