Hi,
Here's my bike. Its not the most fabulous bike in the world but I like it and its doing a good job for me at the moment. It's in basically standard trim apart from the wheels and tyres, carbon and titanium skewers and carbon cage. Nothing major really. I've not had the need to change anything else on it as yet although I would like to get rid of some of the Merckx branding as its on fecking everything!

Nice bike! The wheels kinda ruin it, but as long as it works for you!

Nice bike, mine is a similar speck ( I have a genesis aether 20 with a few upgrades. Ebay bargain). I've always been put off posting it on here as for most people it's worse then their ''2nd winter bike'' (deliberate exaggeration)
I know what you mean about branding!I've been looking for a new bike (stupid as I can't afford one) and it's so annoying trying to find something without branding all over it!
Watch out with the wheels, I have the same, and find the rear wheel gets speckled in drive train gunk after a clean (yes, a clean) and being white it REALLY sticks out. I've been cleaning them regularly, and found the rear rim now has lots of tiny surface scratching which if you look closely has black dirt in (that won't come out). Having said that, it's a cracking wheelset, good to see someone else rolling on them0 -
declan1 - Thanks, not everything is always going to be to everybodys taste. I can see why you're not keen on the wheels, when I first put them on I wasn't sure but they grew on me!
mountaincookie- I had a bit of that feeling too but thought feck it why not! We can't all justify spending a fortune on a bike. Its just nice to see what other people are riding (not that I ever get jealous or anything of course....). How ever much it's nice to have really nice things at the end of the day how much difference does it make to an amateur rider? Don't get me wrong if I had the spare cash I would be on a sexy full carbon Di2 machine! The branding does my head in, don't think they could have fitted any more in, its on everything! Stem, seat post, top cap, bar tape, saddle! I know what you mean about the wheels, mine have survived ok so far but I don't try and scrub them perfect, i just give them a quick wash.0 -

I suppose they probably look better in the flesh - the flash on the camera doesn't help. I always see pics of bikes on the internet and think they look rubbish, then I see them in a bike shop and fall in love!

I really should give mine a clean and post it up. Tbh I will spend 1.5-2K on a bike when I've graduated but as a married student not only can I not justify it I can't afford it!! Tell you what though, when I do get a decent bike I'll have waited 5 or 6 years, so I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait!0

Well this bike was basically £1k when I got it. I've had it just over a year, these are old'ish pics. I'm intending on just sticking with this for a good while longer! Don't think the other half would be too impressed if I came back with a new roadie, and I really need a new mtb first....0

Ahh I see, mine was £300 off ebay probably spent about thatish again in upgrades..maybe a tad more0
