...ok, there are probably more appropriate forums to post this question on... but here goes:-

Can you pick up UK stations (BBC 6Music, Radio 2/4 etc) with a digital radio when your car's in France / Germany etc.

Considering buying a Pure kit to stick in my car.
Cheers.

    From www.ukdigitalradio.com :
Can I listen to UK stations abroad?
Unfortunately your digital radio will not be able to receive UK stations abroad. DAB digital radio uses land-based transmission and so signals from the UK do not reach other countries. UK stations are also licensed to broadcast on DAB digital radio in the UK only and therefore not able to broadcast abroad.

If it has an FM radio that will pick up foreign FM stations while you are abroad.

And abroad do not use DAB radio as a broadcast medium at all so you won't get anything local unless you have an FM receiver too.

France & Germany both have DAB transmissions but have started the move (or have moved) to DAB+ which isn't compatible with UK DAB.

UK DAB transmissions won't reach far beyond UK borders.
