Well after a bit of thought and a clear out of bits, i think i shall treat myself to some nice new wheels, and am after suggestions from the great and good on here!
Looking for something aero 50mm section would be nice but anything from 35mm up will be a good start, not overly bothered if its carbon or carbon/alloy mix, budget is around £650, but could stretch a bit if needed.
Poured over the obvious, and was after suggestions and experiences that people have had.

Use the search function?
Also depends on your riding style, weight and what you're planning to use them for?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -
I am against high profile wheels, unless they are carbon tubulars meant for racing only... otherwise they are just either pointless, or heavy or terrible at braking or expensive or a combination of these, depending on construction material
If you want to spend big money, get some quality hubs and have them built on a light nice rim... the builder will adjust the spoke count to match your weight
Otherwise get the American Classics or the Eastons, the latter have bigger logos, I think...left the forum March 20230 -

I don't find my Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs to be any of these. Yes you can get lighter wheels but this doesn't translate into faster climbing no matter what the theory is. On the flats, I am noticeably (and measurably) faster than on shallow rims. They brake perfectly, are robust and I don't worry about reliability or sidewinds (unless it's a real gale). I think they're pretty good value.
Just my 2p.0 -

Just my 2p.
They fall in the expensive category then....left the forum March 20230
