Pannier Recommendation

Greetings,

I am looking for a pannier recommendation. I have a cyclocross bike with 700 tires and disc brakes. I'm from the pacific NW so it rains most the year. I will need something completely waterproof and durable since my bike is my only transportation and I will be living 3 miles from the market. Thanks for the help.

    I've had a set of Vaude panniers for the last 10-12 years and they are still going strong and have never leaked. The current equivalent would look to be these:

    Ortlieb do something similar that are also highly regarded (though I've not personal experience) if build quality and waterproofness are your highest priorities.
