Sportive Suggestion for 2013

MissBobGFish and a friend are looking for their first event to do Spring/Summer 2013.
It will be there first such ride and as yet training has not commenced. I'm looking for a good fun event which is not to stressful but still a challenge. Somewhere between Switzerland and Holland would be nice so that both parties can drive part of the way.
Any suggestions please.

Have a look at the Tour de Lac Leman http://www.cyclotour.ch/cms Early-ish in the season and very flat with lovely views0

Adjust for the relevant month / country. Not all future events will be in here so use the historical dates to get an idea of the sort of things that are (or likely to be) in the calendar0
