Hi, just a quick question.. is there a reason why the Switchback inserts are being sold more expensive than the Basic Comp brake pads?
i was under the idea that since the switchback has a replaceable insert that the insert would be more economical than a brand new Basic Comp..
thanks

I have not a clue what you mean.0 -
They're marketed as being easier to use and change pads and less time consuming, not cost saving. That is why they are more expensive.0

the customer support from Jagwire emailed me giving me the following explanation: Aside from the fact that the Switchback has replaceable pads.. they also added that the compound used is slightly different on both.. the switchback uses a better compound that will enable the pads to last longer than their Basic counterparts.0
