But it's not an invisible helmet is it!

    It's a bloody airbag in a collar.

It'll look brilliant with your race fit jersey on the sunday run.
  • How it would it be triggered, and would it go off if you had a mere clipless moment? How would it affect your neck as you hit the ground and the extra bulk yanked/bent your spine? Also, could you reset it?

So many questions which I suspect can't be answered here, but I'll ask anyway.

"The airbag is deployed by sensors – accelerometers and gyros – that pick up a bicyclist's abnormal movements in the event of an accident. The sensors then send a signal to the gas inflator to inflate the airbag."

They don't state what is considered abnormal

It deflates itself a few seconds after, so if the tarmac don't get ya the next car will.

It is filled by a gas cylinder that uses Helium, insert your own joke here :D
my isetta is a 300cc bike
  • I bet Rapha won't sell it.
I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but I'm intercontinental when I eat French toast...

What a load of crap. The collar looks daft, probably feels stupid to wear and almost certainly weighs more than a regular helmet.

Plus - what happens if the battery is flat?
