How to watch the Vuelta in Andorra

I'm in Spain and planning on watching the Vuelta on the day it heads up into Andorra. I figure it will be easier to drive up from the French side to reduce any potentially getting caught in road closures and what not. Essentially the plan is drive into somewhere in Andorra, no idea where - then follow my nose till i can park and walk towards the top of the climb then walk down to a sensible spot to watch.
The flaws in this plan are potentially numerous. Any tips? Specific recomendations of where to watch from?
I drove ahead of the Giro up a mid stage pass once, parked up in a random space a couple of hours ahead of the race, watched it cross then just got in the car and left no problems. Hoping it will be similarly simple.

I went and did a recce of the Andorra stage in February and there's only one way in from Spain so if you are early it'll be fine to get in as they can't shut it all day if that's easier than going in from the French side. There are loads of car parks at the shopping centres some free, some cost. The place to watch is the Collada de la gallina. It's fantastic and it's going to be an epic finish. Obviously it will be sign posted for the Vuelta but if you are going to have a look before then it's the road that goes alongside the football stadium. It's easy to miss the actual climb as there's a sharp left at the first bunch of houses and then it's straight up!
I'm gonna do Arcalis, the Ordino and then finish on the gallina before the stage.
