  • No, but my bike is! :D

Oh, and I don't live in London, so that was really just an unneccessary 'spelling Nazi' moment....

As it sits in my office at work or garage at home it is far less likely to get taken ...

Actually I can just look over at it now ... it's a bit dirty ... perhaps I should go over and clean it ...

This was on the news this morning wasn't it? It was also reported that if bikes were marked and registered properly, a significant number which were recovered could be returned to its rightful owner. Something I haven't gotten round to doing on my bikes admittedly.

    Number plates. Duh.
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

I presume they were referring to registering the serial no. or a postcode marking against a registrar. Then it can be traced back to someone.

The police do it for free, using https://www.bikeregister.com/
    FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.
  • Both my bikes were bought from Cycle Surgery who offer Alpha Dot security marking for free on all new bikes.

And as stated above there are other free versions around so no real excuse not to get it sorted.
