Bike Recommendations - Under £1000

Hi,
I'm looking to replace my crashed winter road bike (me vs. taxi - I came off worse!), and have decided to go for a mountain bike, since I have another road bike. I'm looking to spend up to £1000, & since my comapny uses the Cycle2Work scheme, the Boardman Team FS has caught my eye. However, I'm a bit concerned about the reports of the wide seat stays catching the riders legs. Does anyone have any other recommendations at this price point? I would definately prefer a full-sus (as I used to ride one back in the day), and since there are quite a few bike shops that accept the Halfords vouchers, I'm sure I'd be able to find a shop that stocks whatever is recommended (except Canyon, bit peeved about that!)
Cheers,
Michael

You wont beat the boardman for the money. Go and ride one and see if the stays are a problem.2011 Giant Trance Ltd, 2016 Revs, XT bits etc.0
