Hi all,

I will be on the bike quite a bit when going through meetings around town, and really want a nice stylish backpack, as my current red back pack just does not look the part when wearing a suit.

I'm looking for something along the lines of a nice Rapha backpack, but something with places for laptops and smaller electronic items.

Any recommendations?

    Yes, the commuters forum.

    Pffft backpacks indeed.

Does it need to match the bike too?

    Panniers?

Surely suit+backpack = sweaty back and creased suit?

I wouldn't wear a rucksack with a suit when walking, let alone riding.

    How about a taxi?

No point in spending money on a taxi for the trips, I prefer the bike. No panniers as my town bike is an mtb with no eyelets.

Only one solution - the Brookes Courier bag. Bloody expensive, but stylish, practical, and it will not give you a big sweaty patch on your back.

  • That Brooke's bag looks like the perfect solution! Many thanks!
