  • I have the Scott Scale 29 expert (next 1 up to the elite) and its awesome, great handling/fit etc, got it from Pedal on they are selling the elite cheeper than evans, got mine delivered to my house all set up. I rate Scott better then giant or spec

I also like the Scott, and the forks which are 100mm rather than the 80mm on the Spesh, and it has a proper gearing, not any of this Sram nonsense on the Giant

I have the Giant XTC 1 Composite 29er, great handling bike, but running gear has to be upgraded as brakes rubbish and sram X5 but as a frame first class
    Giant Trance X1 2008
    Gary Fisher Cobia 29er 2010

    Giant XTC Composite 29er 2012
Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0 2015
  • I really wouldn't use winstanleysbikes.co.uk, the customer service they provide is truly appalling!!!!

I had a many problems over 6 months of trying to get it resolved, being told many things from different people, and still then being no closer to having a suitable replacement, I eventually got a refund.

Worst company I've ever dealt with!

Giant XTC, 3 of my mates have them and rave about them, you can always upgrade bits as and when
