I have just bought a new bike and managed to take one of the pedals off to put the pedals i bought on, the other one just wont shift! I have tried everything, lubing it up and try it just does not wanna move.
Does anyone have any tips other than braying it with a sledgehammer to get it to move?

No offence meant but best check the simpelst things first so ... are you sure you are turning the wrench the right way (one pedal is reversed thread)?
Failing that do a search of this forum there are loads of previous threads on this one.0 -

FWIW
As its a new bike I would take it back to lbs in case -
I accidently did any damage or
I found the crank threads were damaged once I got the pedal off -
Let the place that sold you it solve this and take the hit if it turns out there is a bigger unerlying problem.0 -
