The chief financial officer has spent the last month as a farting, burping hormonal mad bitch, and now her legs are going too. She spends most of the evenings looking green and spending much quality time in the bathroom.

This is not a new thing. Exactly the same eight years ago with No1 Girl.

Why oh why oh why do it to yourselves? We'd be more than happy with a soapytitwank and it would be far cheaper for all involved.

Edit. This was posted in a rather Laphroiag'd condition. I'm amazed I didn't name a receptionist.

Still fairly hammered so will step away from the iPhone.

    Congratulations!

    I think?

I'm having a Glenlivet in celebration anyway.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I know exactly what you mean, my first was born on tuesday and apart from carrying round a 10 pound baby and having to medicate herself to the eyeballs , the wife had to be sliced open cause the little bugger was transverse and is now not able to do anything much for herself because of the pain from the scar... other than that she is doing great!!
Congrats, when I get a chance I am going to be raising a nice 18 yo talisker!

  • Simon,

If you are going to have a tipple then laphroaig is a very good choice. However, may I refer you to my post of 26th March 2011.

Under the circumstances I think we can forgive and offer congratulations......

Congrats for all the obvious reasons, but also for reintroducing me to the word "soapytitwank", which I haven't heard since school.

Chin chin and cheers all round!

Didn't you announce this through the Man Cave thread a couple of weeks back? Congratulations again, anyway.

  • Congrats Simon. I will confess to having had the same thoughts on occasion. Brewing offspring is considerably less fun than Hollywood made it out to be. The outcome is (allegedly) worth it, however. Or so you dads tell me. (so don't go changing your stories now)

I read that as "Or so your dad tells me". I thought it was the female equivalent of the "your mum" insult!

BTW, may I recommend these for Mrs AH (for the inaccurately named morning sickness)

From Holland & Barrett or other healthfood type places. Mrs RJS swore by them.
