UST tyres on a standard rim with tubes ?

Looking at using these on my sons bike - standard rims with tubes. As they are UST tubeless tyres, are they ok to use with tubes on standard rims ? Any downside to buying UST tyres when not using UST - are they heavier or anything than non UST version ?

they will be fine but a bit heavier than none UST versions.
