Anyone used the cycle parking at Victoria park?

I'm meant to meeting some mates there today, and I want to avoid the tubes (especially today cos they will be rammed!).
I've just heard there's like 4000 or so parking spaces for bikes, has anyone used them? They fairly secure?
If not, I guess I can just walk around with the bike in tow
