Replacement front chain ring

Hi, I have a cannondale synapse alloy 105 2011 model.
According to the spec I have an FSA Grossmer crank set 50 / 34
I am looking at replacing the 50 tooth chain ring as it has a buckle in it.
Can someone point me to a replacement ring ?
I have had a look on various bike shop websites but there is so much choice as well as different thickness etc I am just not sure which one to buy.
Also I take it, it is pretty straight forward to replace the front ring ?
